View My Free BrochureAn endowment gift to Rady Children's today makes our future brighter. When you make an endowment gift, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits.
Here is how it works: Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at Rady Children's. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure support in perpetuity.
Longtime supporters Susan and Charlie have two goals. First, they want to make sure Rady Children's continues to receive support beyond their lifetimes. Second, they want to memorialize Charlie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
Susan and Charlie make a $50,000 donation to establish the Mr. and Mrs. Jones Endowment at Rady Children's. We invest their gift and, each year, a portion of the income from the invested money will be used by the Hospital in honor of the Joneses.
In making this gift, Susan and Charlie also qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction on their taxes.
