Vince and Camilla Borchers' own son, Chris, spent the first two months of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rady Children's Hospital San-Diego.
"I have a special place in my heart for the doctors and nurses in this unit," says Camilla, "they care for the sickest and most medically fragile infants as if they were their own. Chris would not be home today without this miraculous place."
Chris, who had 15 surgeries in his first 8 years, is now 22 and following his talent and passion for music, and Vince and Camilla support Rady Children's by including the Hospital in their Living Trust. Their story gives comfort to others, and their generosity helps ensure that Rady Children's will be here to help children who are sick or injured for generations to come.
